Meizu E3: Design

The smartphone received an all-metal case with rounded edges. Almost the entire front surface is occupied by a 5.99-inch display with an aspect ratio of 18: 9. The side frames of the screen are small, but they can be seen clearly. The upper and lower frames are wide, but there are no navigation buttons beneath the screen. In the upper part, there are typical elements: a talking speaker, front camera, sensors and indicator of missed events.

The trademark Meizu chip, which we saw in the novelty, is the touch virtual button Super mBack in the form of a ring on the screen. For those who have not yet got acquainted with this idea in the Meizu M6s smartphone personally, this solution may seem more interesting and convenient alternative to three standard virtual buttons.

The rear panel Meizu E3 recalls the design of the iPhone X. It looks minimalistic and holds in the upper left corner a dual main camera, under which there is a flash. In the lower right corner is the logo of the company – Meizu.

At the top and bottom of the back panel, you can see small, smoothly converging on the side edges of the arched inserts necessary to ensure the normal functioning of the antennas. In the black Meizu E3, they are not so noticeable.

At the bottom, there is a microphone, a USB port, a multimedia speaker and a 3.5 mm jack. The power button is on the right side. Under it is a fingerprint scanner. This location of the fingerprint sensor should become the business card of Meizu smartphones, at least this year. On the opposite side, there is a volume rocker.

Meizu E3 dimensions are 156.8 mm long, 75 mm wide, 7.6 mm thick. A weight of the device is 163 grams. The color choices are three: champagne-gold, black, and navy blue.
