Korea’s Samsung has just introduced a new mirrorless camera with interchangeable lenses affordable price. The new Samsung NX3300 features an APS-C sensor equivalent in size to half SLRs and basic, and offers a resolution of 20.3 megapixels. It has a folding three-inch screen and is available in black or white, always offering a pleasant look with a retro feel without actually remember much of the cameras of the seventies and eighties.
The new Samsung NX3300 comes to update to which until now was the proposal by the Korean giant for midrange and low grade, NX3000. Like that, the NX3300 is presented, by brand, like a retro camera design, although it is clear that they have not gone so far in this respect as other competing models. It’s a balancing chamber design with a compact size and nice finish leather. It is equipped with a three-inch LCD screen that can be swiveled 180 degrees vertically to obtain self-portraits or selfies well framed. When using the flash, we have to resort to external unit SEF8A that screw into the shoe and that, though, comes with the team. The NX3300 is logically compatible with Samsung NX mount lenses, and will be sold together with the zoom 16-50 f / 3.5-5.6. This objective standard road scope and content size has a practical optical stabilization system and also with the mode i-Function, which quickly adjusts the aperture, shutter speed and ISO sensitivity according to scene conditions.
Turning now to your specifications, the new NX3300 incorporates a sensor APS-C sized 20.3-megapixel resolution that will allow us to obtain images with a maximum size of 5,472 x 3,648 pixels in JPEG or RAW format. The ISO range is 100-25600 and the maximum shutter speed is 1/4000 and can capture up to five frames per second in burst mode. In the video story mode, the NX3300 can record Full HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) with stereo sound. The frequency of the images is 30 frames per second, and the selected recording format is MP4 with H.264 compression codec.
In Chapter connectivity, the new Samsung NX3300 features two wireless ports, WiFi and NFC; thanks to package Tag & Go functions that incorporate can share your photos easily with any compatible device. It is even possible to automatically send every picture we take the NX3300 our phone or tablet thanks to the Autoshare function. Another interesting resource is offered by the free application Remote Pro, with which we can control the camera from your smartphone viewing the scene from the display, an ideal resource for self-portraits, group photos or images from difficult angles. Finally, the battery capacity of 2,330 milliamps offers a range of approximately 370 shots. The price of the new Samsung NX3300 along with the standard 16-50 mm zoom will be approximately 400 euros.
