The Chinese Ragentek Group, founded in 2006, is a well-known company in China, but few have heard of it in the world. Ragentek specializes in the production of budget mobile devices, it manages to create balanced models that, despite the lack of advanced functions, have a good price-quality ratio.
Today we present for review a new device: VOGA V – is a 4G phablet of the middle price range with very interesting features.

VOGA V: Design

A smartphone is not something radically new, in terms of design. The monolithic case of the smartphone has rounded corners and is made of high-quality anodized aluminum, which gives the device a more premium look. Almost the entire front panel of the phone occupies a 5.5-inch screen, above it is 8.0 MP front camera, and below the screen – control buttons. On the back of the phone is the main camera with a resolution of 13.0MP with LED flash. Below is the fingerprint sensor.

And now we have reached the main feature of the VOGA V phone. On the top side of the smartphone is a laser projector, which allows you to reproduce images on large surfaces. Thanks to MEMS technology, where only two mirrors are used for display, the devices are quite small and inexpensive. MEMS laser projector has 5000: 1 high contrast ratio and is able to transform any image into a virtual user interface.

Dimensions of the phone are – height 153 mm, width 75.6 and thickness 10.2 mm. The weight of the device is 204 g and it is available in two color variants – blue and black.

VOGA V: Screen

The smartphone has a 5.5 inch IPS screen with a resolution (FHD) of 1920 x 1080 pixels. To protect the screen, 2.5D curved glass is used.  An aspect ratio of the screen is 16: 9, side frames are minimal, thanks to this phone looks very attractive. The brightness level can be set in the range from 5 to 410 cd/m², the image on the screen is easy to read on the street.

VOGA V: Performance

The performance of the VOGA smartphone is based on the 8-core MediaTek MTK6750V processor consisting of 4-core ARM Cortex-A53 operating at 1.5 GHz and 4-core ARM Cortex-A53 1.0 GHz. For the graphics part of the phone is the ARM Mali-T860 MP2 processor, consisting of 2-Cores GPU with a working 650MHz. Technical specifications assume the presence of 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, if necessary, you can increase it with a card up to 128 GB. The phone is running the operating system Android 7.0.

Performance smartphone budgetary – it draws most games, on the maximum frs schedule will be average and you will not get pleasure from the game. But for everyday tasks, it will be enough.

VOGA V: Camera

The phone received a main rear camera with a resolution of 13-megapixels and a front camera – 8-megapixel.

The back camera boasts the presence of Dual-LED Flash, it improves the quality of shooting in low light. Not bad for a smartphone of this class camera. Of course, do not count on something supernatural, but as a mobile camera, you can use a smartphone. The front camera does not have a LED-flash, but for video calls, it will be enough.

The phone provides for shooting video Full-HD 30 fps without any stabilization. It turns out a normal picture in detail, but as usual, poor quality of a sound recording.

VOGA V: Battery

The smartphone has a non-removable Lithium polymer battery with a capacity of 4000mah, which supports fast charging technology. The phone’s working time in video mode is 8 hours, talk time is 12 hours, in standby mode up to 10 days.

Fast charging will charge the smartphone at 50% for 1 hour and the full charging process lasts up to 2 hours. Given the battery capacity, the figures are good.
